Robert B. Grossman, M.D.
A specialist in the field of sports medicine, Dr. Grossman received a Bachelor of Arts degree from
the University of Virginia, and his medical degree from the University of Maryland. He completed His
Orthopaedic Residency at the University of Vermont, and his Fellowship in Sports Medicine at
Lenox Hill Hospital, New York City. He is presently the Assistant Director of the Orthopaedic
Residency program at Monmouth Medical Center, and has been actively invloved in teaching residents for 20 years. Dr.
Grossman is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Hahnemann Medical School, Consultant to the U.S. Soccer
Federation, and traveled with the World Cup junior team, as well as being a consultant at the U.S. Olympic Facility in
Colorado Springs. Dr. Grossman is a Fellow of the American Academy at Orthopaedic Surgery, the American Academy of
Surgery, the American Sports Medicine Society and the Arthroscopic Association of North America.He is the first
orthopaedist elected to the International Society of Orthpaedics and Traumatologists in Monmouth County in the past 25 years.
Dr. Grossman has served as the assistant team physician for the New York Jets, Yankees, Islanders, Rangers,
Knicks, Cosmos, and the US Woman's Tennis Team. He is also currently the president of the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society.
